I assume you are talking about a telescope mirror. I have read a lot and ground one small mirror some years ago but did it all by hand. If I remember properly, some of the features you want in a grinding machine are the ability to change the stroke's length as well as the path it takes across the surface (radial, cordial).

These parts are almost identical to the smaller or iginal Mirror -o-Matic parts and will work as in the bigger machine. The M -o-M 20 uses one inch shafts for the eccentric. If yo ur original machine had one inch shafts for the eccentric, they can be reused. The M -o-M 20 should use one inch shafts.

Me and my pal Marc have a M-o-M each. It can handle mirrors up to 20". One is now loaded with a 20" mirror. It'll be a f/4.5. To feed the carbo we work with peristaltic pumps. Fully automated. When the container runs out of slurry the M-o-M stops. Containers completely filled with carbo the M-o-M will run for about 1.5 hours.
